Tien Nguyen: I first came across pickleball during a business trip in 2012 to Luke AFB assisting the F-35 program for the US Air Force.  It was in Surprise, AZ, that I noticed these immaculate “miniature” tennis courts.  I did not engage in any play.  Years later, I was re-introduced to the game.  I visited the gym where pickleball was played regularly.  I watched diligently and took mental notes.  It was not until my 3rd visit that I partake in the Sport.  Nowadays, pickleball has become a staple in my exercise and calorie-burning curriculum after not making the cut for the OKC Noodling Team.
